WordSloth Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the WordSloth mobile application (the "App"), provided by Biliby Pty Ltd ("we", "our", or "us"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are a parent or guardian setting up the App for a child, you accept these Terms on their behalf.

Using WordSloth

WordSloth is an educational spelling app designed for children ages 5 and up, intended to be used under the supervision of a parent, guardian, or educator. You agree to use the App only for its intended, lawful, personal, and non-commercial purpose.

Purchases & Subscriptions

WordSloth is free to download and includes content you can use at no cost. You may unlock the full library of word lists and additional features through in-app purchases, which are offered in two ways:

• One-time purchase (Lifetime unlock): a single, non-recurring payment that unlocks the full library permanently on your Apple Account.
• Auto-renewable subscriptions: weekly, monthly, or yearly plans that provide ongoing access to premium content for the duration of the subscription.

For auto-renewable subscriptions, the following terms apply:

• Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase, and the displayed price applies to the selected plan length (weekly, monthly, or yearly).
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription, and turn off auto-renewal, in your device's Apple Account Settings after purchase.
• Prices are shown in the App and may vary by region and over time. Any unused portion of a free trial, where offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and are subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement. Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their policies; please contact Apple Support for refund requests.

Intellectual Property

The App, including its content, design, mascot, word lists, audio, and software, is owned by Biliby Pty Ltd and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse-engineer any part of the App.

Privacy

We care about your family's privacy. Our handling of information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Disclaimers

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. While WordSloth is designed to support learning, we do not guarantee any specific educational outcome. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Biliby Pty Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Nothing in these Terms excludes any consumer rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
